Course Description

The Data Use and Access Act 2025 updates, but does not replace, GDPR, which has been in force since 2018. 

Did you update your data protection practices when GDPR came into force but are now wondering what you need to do to comply with the new regulations? Well this will be a useful update for you. 

This course is suitable for those who completed GDPR training either with Linguistpd or elsewhere.

Poppi has been working in Marketing for over fifteen years, and has also taken on the roll of Data Protection Officer after the GDPR laws were first introduced in 2018. Poppi is our Customer Services and Marketing Executive and our Data protection trainer. She co-presented the online course ‘GDPR As A Freelancer – Are You Compliant?’ She started learning BSL in 2014 and fell in love with it! She’s very interested in other cultures, loves travelling and currently lives in Mexico!
